SCRUTINEERING WILL BE CARRIED OUT. Eligible Chassis Tamiya M01/2 or M03 series "Front Wheel Drive" chassis only, assembled as per Instruction Manual, and no chassis/powertrain modifications allowed. With the exception of the included/optional differential which may be modified to give a locked/spool action. Wheels/Tyres Any commercially available rubber mini-sized tyre, in any combination and/or compound, with any insert, and standard offset mini-sized wheels. Bodies Bodyshells are open, with the following restrictions - No 4 door Touring Sedans and/or 12th scale type Wedge/Can-am bodies. Motor & Transmission 20, 18 OR 16 Tooth pinions only Tamiya Black Can Sport-Tuned motors - 53068, or 13T/3000KV Hobbywing OEM or rebranded COMPLETE SYSTEM with max 25 or 35 amp ESC and engraved /etched can. No modifications are permitted to motors. Chassis A minimum weight limit of 1330gms (with transponder) will apply. ESC, bearings and Tamiya Hot-ups only permitted, with the following exceptions - Official Tamiya optional alloy components may be replaced with an equivalent aftermarket part. Batteries Any approved 6 cell Nicad and/or NiMH stick pack. Any 2 cell, Hard-cased approved 7.4 Lipo packs as listed on the ROAR website (http://www.roarracing.com/approvals/lipobattery.php) |

APPENDIXMOTORS: 1. Only approved motors may be used. 2. Motors for Stock, 19 Turn and Modified must be on the AARCMCC approved list (click here) and must comply with these rules. 3. 540 Stock Motors: as per AARCMCC rules (click here). RPM limit on these motors is 19000. 4. Tamiya Sports Tuned motor RPM limit is 23000. 5. Any driver found to be using an illegal motor will be immediately disqualified from the race he/she is participating in. VEHICLE BATTERIES: 1. Only batteries as per the AARCMCC list and rules (click here). 2. All batteries must be commercially available for hobby use. 3. Batteries may not be changed during a race. 4. Batteries must bear manufacturer's identification on either the unopened total pack or on each individual cell.
